OCIA stands for Order of Christian Initiation of Adults, and it is the process by which non-Catholic adults receive instruction and the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and the Eucharist, coming into full communion with the Catholic Church.
The class is also for adult Catholics who desire to complete their Christian Initiation with the sacraments of Confirmation and/or First Communion.
Adults who simply want to learn more about the Catholic faith, including Catholics who have received their sacraments, are all welcome to attend.
Classes are on Tuesday nights, 7:00 pm - 8:45 pm, in the St. Joseph Building, Room 103-104. The first class is Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at 7:00PM. This first class is mandatory as the process for those seeking sacraments will be explained. We will also meet Sundays for noon Mass.
